[Customer Blog] Bridal Ring Order / MONAKA aoyama

Marriage Ring "kasane" & Engagement Ring "Rinne Oldcut Diamond" Order
We received an order for a lovely bridal ring at our Aoyama store.
The wedding rings are kasane-L/ kasane-MD.
The collection is They chose "kasane," which expresses the passage of time between the couple through the hammered surface , and also chose Pt900 as the material, creating a coordinated pair.
The engagement ring is made from a loose stone using a combination of materials: a light yellow old cut diamond in a brightly shining Pt900 "Rinne" setting, and the arm that carves and sets the diamond is made of K18YG, which is comfortable against the skin.
"Rinne," which is also popular as an engagement ring, is a reimagining of the royal design that gives off a noble impression in the MONAKA jewellery style. The base has a crafted feel, giving it a warm look. The melee diamonds that illuminate the center stone add a touch of glamour, making this a one-of-a-kind item.

The journey of a jewelry-loving customer to deciding on a bridal order.
Ring coordination for everyday visits to the store.

At MONAKA, the lineup is dominated by warm-colored diamonds, such as yellow and orange natural diamonds and brown diamonds. Colored stones tend to be cool-colored, such as boulders, black opals, and emeralds.
The customer came to the store to pick up a custom-made ring, which featured a rare bicolor cabochon cut Paraiba tourmaline set in a flower-like twisted stone setting.
She hadn't decided whether she wanted an engagement ring or not, but she had said that she wanted a Rinne design with en-MD and yellow natural diamonds, regardless of bridal, so I took it upon myself to look for a loose stone that would suit her.

A rose cut yellow stone that is brighter than the one you have and has sparkling inclusions. The finished image is a natural diamond loose stone set in a K18YG Rinne stone setting. It's a pretty luxurious size, but the gentle shine of the natural diamonds makes it surprisingly suitable for casual wear. I got excited thinking that maybe a ring this big would be good for grandma!
Because of my budget and because I am petite, it was too big for me🤣, so I chose a more realistic size, a yellow rose cut. A finished image of a natural diamond loose stone placed in a Rinne stone setting of K18YG. The loose stone is thick, so it looks juicy and delicious.

All of the rings matched well with the jewelry she already owned and her everyday fashion, and looked great on her, but when she tried them on, she said, "I already have natural and brown diamonds, and I wouldn't buy them as fashion jewelry for myself, but maybe sparkly clear diamonds would be good for an engagement ring."

When I held an old cut loose stone in my hand, which I had never considered in fashion jewelry, I was captivated by its overwhelming sparkle and decided to choose the old cut.
I usually tend to choose colored diamonds or pear shapes, but this time I chose a light yellow cushion cut that is close to white, set horizontally, and used a combination color material.
We placed the loose stone she had chosen on the Rinne stone setting and visualized the finished product. We considered the arm design and even thought about adding a diamond to the arm... It all became more and more gorgeous and we decided to order an engagement ring.

We tried out all the wedding rings, and although we usually use yellow gold, we thought we might try platinum for the wedding ring. The en-MD, which I had always liked, looked better in yellow gold. The kasane-MD, which I initially thought was too sparkly, was paired with platinum, and the two-sided nature of the casual textured finish and the sparkling diamonds of the half eternity ring suddenly stood out as being great!
Kasane also looks great on the hands of people who enjoy climbing as a hobby.
en-MD is a fashion ring that you can buy someday, or you can add to your collection to celebrate anniversaries, etc., so you might as well get matching rings for your partner! Kasane decided.
Although the bridal ring was more sparkly than originally planned, it was a different way of choosing jewelry from regular fashion jewelry, and I really enjoyed being able to choose this important commemorative ring together with her.
MONAKA's Rinne has a textured stone setting with a deliberately distorted carved diamond, which gives a casual feel to the gorgeous design. Kasane-MD also liked the fact that it can be worn on both sides depending on the mood or for work or leisure.
Finally, some lovely photos from the wedding.
