To commemorate the opening of our Ginza store,
we have prepared a special novelty gift
as a token of our gratitude to all who visit us.
OPENING OMOTENASHI
During the Ginza store's opening period,
we will be serving beverages along with Toraya's summer-exclusive confection, "Wakaba Kage," which reflects the changing seasons.
Additionally, customers who register for our LINE account upon visiting will receive a set of Toraya's "Zangetsu" and "Yasaka."
Furthermore, customers who make a purchase
will receive our original Kohakuto (amber candy) "Paraiba Tourmaline & Emerald."

"Wakaba Kage," Toraya's summer-exclusive confection, reflects the changing seasons.
Its refreshing琥珀羹 (kohaku-kan, amber jelly) will add color to this special season.
We have also prepared fragrant mulberry tea from a long-established Kyoto tea house. We hope you enjoy its gentle harmony with the Japanese sweets.
From the evening, in honor of Kyoto, which is also the designer's origin,
we will be offering additive-free white and sparkling rosé wines from Tanba, Kyoto.
We are delighted to share with you the blessings of our hometown,
which fostered the brand's origins.
Furthermore, we will be offering wines unique to Yamanashi, a region with a deep connection as a jewelry production area,
and one that also supports the creation of MONAKA.

MONAKA cherishes the Japanese aesthetic sense, the scenery created by nature,
and the quiet beauty that resides within it.
The "Zangetsu" and "Yasaka" from Toraya that we have chosen this time
are also confections imbued with beautiful Japanese scenery and wishes.
The baked confection "Zangetsu" depicts the moon quietly remaining in the dawn sky. Since ancient times, "Ariake no Tsuki" (dawn moon) and "Zangetsu" (remaining moon) have been recited in waka and haiku, representing a transient beauty and lingering impression that the Japanese people have cherished.
As MONAKA also takes its name from the moon,
we deeply resonated with the name "Zangetsu" and its world view.
We specially commissioned "Zangetsu" with the MONAKA logo branded onto it for this occasion.
The "monaka" (wafer cake) "Yasaka," which will also be presented,
is shaped like a noble chrysanthemum flower and expresses the wish for "ever-increasing prosperity."
Chrysanthemums have long been cherished as auspicious flowers,
and their design is fitting for celebratory occasions.
We chose these confections with the wish that the new connection with our Ginza store
will be increasingly fruitful for everyone.
We have imbued these confections with the desire to connect the unique Japanese aesthetic sense to the future in the form of jewelry, and to cherish the beauty that deepens with time.
Paraiba Tourmaline and Emerald,

Inspired by the individuality of natural stones that MONAKA values,
the unique expressions of nature where no two are alike,
and the charm of the colors residing within them,
we have created original kohakuto (amber candy) "Paraiba Tourmaline & Emerald."
Paraiba Tourmaline, which bears a vibrant blue-green color
under the summer sun, and the captivating deep, rich green of emerald.
The brilliance of stones that change expression when exposed to light and their transparent beauty
are expressed with delicate textures within these small kohakuto candies.
The outside has a crispy texture, while the inside is soft.
We hope you can enjoy the colors and lingering flavors contained within each piece,
as if admiring a jewel.
Going forward, MONAKA will continue to
connect the unique Japanese aesthetic sense to the future in the form of jewelry, and in this new location in Ginza, we will continue to create pieces that will long accompany our customers' daily lives.
