We provide information regarding order methods, delivery times, shipping, size changes, and product handling.
Please be sure to check before making a purchase.
Precautions before Purchase
*As each item is made by hand using natural stones, there will be individual differences in each piece.
*Due to the nature of natural stones and device settings, the color of the image may differ from the actual product.
*Size measurements are given for the longest part of each side (length, width, and thickness).
For designs with stones set in bezels or items with bases, the metal parts may also be included in the measurement. Please note that there may be slight discrepancies.
*Most of MONAKA's natural stone items are one-of-a-kind. Items sold in stores may be sold out due to time differences, so please be aware of this in advance. If an item is out of stock, we will contact you within 3 days.
While there are individual differences, we may have other loose stones in stock. In such cases, we may offer alternatives.
In the unlikely event that you receive a product different from the one you ordered, or a defective product, we will accept returns or exchanges. Please contact us at info@monakajewellery.com.
Please note that returns or exchanges will not be accepted in the following cases:
* Returns/exchanges due to customer convenience
* Products that have been more than 7 days since arrival
* Products that show signs of use
* Products where accompanying items such as boxes and warranty cards have been lost
* Products whose condition is significantly different from when they were delivered
If exchange is not possible due to the item being a one-of-a-kind item or out of stock, we will issue a refund instead.
Please note that in the case of returns or exchanges due to defects or incorrect delivery, we will bear the shipping costs.
Once your payment is confirmed, we will promptly proceed with the production process. Therefore, please note that we cannot accept changes to your order details, such as alterations to the length, size, or material of custom-made items.
Regarding delivery
【Important Notice: Shipping Suspension Due to Store Relocation】
Due to our store relocation, we will unfortunately be suspending shipping operations during the following period:

Orders placed from 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 20, 2026, through Friday, July 3, 2026.
Our ONLINE SHOP will remain available as usual during this period. However, for orders placed during this time, responses to inquiries, and lead time notifications for custom orders, we will begin processing them sequentially from Saturday, July 4, 2026, after shipping operations resume.
*Orders placed by 11:59 AM on Saturday, June 20, 2026, will be shipped as usual, as detailed below.
*Some products may be shipped as usual.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the extended time between order placement and shipment.

【About Standard Shipping】
In-stock items will be shipped within 7 days after payment confirmation.
*During the New Year holidays, shipping will follow our business days.
Once shipping is complete, we will send you the tracking number. Please wait for delivery.
Please note that we do not accept specific dates, times, or delivery methods for shipments.
We kindly ask you to adjust and confirm delivery details yourself using the tracking number provided after shipment.
*We will only contact you within 3 days if an item is out of stock.
*Custom orders will be shipped as soon as they are completed. After shipment, you will be notified via a shipping confirmation with the tracking number.
*If you purchase custom-made items, items with size changes, etc., together with in-stock items, all items will be shipped together according to the lead time of the custom-made items.
If you wish for separate deliveries, please let us know, and we will arrange it after an additional shipping fee has been paid.
Customers who purchase 55,000 yen (including tax) or more will receive free shipping.
All deliveries will be made via Yamato Takkyubin Compact.

・Flat rate for all other regions: 640 yen
・Hokkaido, Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Oita, Miyazaki, Kagoshima: 700 yen
・Okinawa: 820 yen
International shipments are delivered via Japan Post, UPS, or FedEx. The shipping carrier used for precious metals varies depending on the destination country or region.
Shipping fees vary depending on the destination country and product price. Shipping fees include insurance, and customs clearance fees may apply depending on the product amount.
Shipping fees are automatically calculated at checkout, so please confirm them there.
Customs duties, import taxes, etc., vary by destination country and will be charged directly to the customer upon receipt, separate from the shipping fee.
We kindly ask you to research the customs duties for each country in advance. Please note that we cannot answer questions regarding customs duties.
Delivery times vary by destination country and can range from several days to several weeks, and in some cases, around a month.
If you order custom-made items, the delivery period is not included in the lead time. The delivery period will be added to the lead time.

Due to the preparation period for our store relocation, we regret to inform you that
the delivery time for custom orders will be longer than usual.

As indicated above, the delivery time will be approximately 15 days longer than usual.
Please note that this change in delivery times applies to custom orders placed after this announcement and for orders placed up to July 15, 2026 (Wednesday).
Currently, for both our online shop and directly managed stores, the estimated delivery time is approximately 2.5 months. After your order is complete, we will send you an email with an updated estimated delivery date.
Please note that depending on the design, some items may be adjusted for wearability and size. Thank you for your understanding.
During long holidays for our craftsmen, such as year-end/New Year, summer vacation, and Golden Week, an additional 10 days will be added to the standard delivery time.
Once your item is complete and shipped, we will notify you with the shipping tracking number.

Handling Instructions
Please handle your jewelry with care, as not only natural stones but also jewelry in general can be damaged if dropped or subjected to strong impacts.
Furthermore, please refrain from wearing jewelry when doing housework, bathing, sleeping, carrying heavy loads, or playing sports, as this may lead to deformation or damage to the jewelry, or unexpected injuries.
Broken natural stones cannot be repaired, so we recommend putting on and taking off jewelry in soft places such as on a bed or carpet.
Natural stones with low hardness, such as coral, are particularly vulnerable to impact and can easily chip, so please handle them with extreme care.
Avoid long-term storage in direct sunlight or in dry, hot, and humid environments, as this may cause deterioration or discoloration.
Also, please refrain from wearing the jewelry in seawater or hot spring water, as these may cause metal discoloration and natural stone deterioration.
If natural stones (especially pearls and opals) are left with moisture or sweat on them, they may deteriorate or discolor. In addition, cosmetics (sunscreen, hand cream, etc.) or chemicals may cause them to lose their luster. After use, please gently wipe them with a jewelry cloth or soft cloth before storing them.
Jewelry can easily get scratched and damaged if they come into contact with each other. When carrying them, store them in a jewelry case so they are not crushed, and for storage at home, we recommend using a tray or a case with individual compartments.
