日本でデザインされ、織物の産地で生まれた特別な布とキャリーケース

Special fabrics and carry cases designed in Japan and produced in the textile region

Special fabrics designed in Japan and produced in a textile-producing region

All of the fabrics used this time were designed by Japanese textile companies,
They are carefully woven in textile production areas such as Kiryu City.
Each fabric has a unique look and is imbued with Japanese craftsmanship.

① Amate — A unique expression where washi paper and velvet meet

Amate features soft velvet pile peeking out in dots. The design is made from layered washi paper, which is made from traditional Japanese materials such as **kozo (paper mulberry), mitsumata (Japanese mulberry), and gampi (gampi)**.
By gluing the washi paper to the velvet while leaving the fibers intact, we were able to create a texture that feels almost "deep, like leather." The contrast between the smooth surface and the soft texture of the velvet creates an elegant look that is perfect for wrapping jewels.

② Spots — Fabric with a natural rhythm reminiscent of hand-drawn patterns

The reverse side of the velvet is flocked (a technique that uses static electricity to attach short fibers)
This "two-face" fabric is beautiful on both sides. Because it's attached to a box, only one side is visible, but the scattered dots have an organic, warm feel, as if each dot was carefully painted with a brush. The artwork-like pattern and texture add depth to the appearance of the jewelry box.

3. Decorative threads — expressive jacquard where the thread itself becomes the main focus

Using a fluffy decorative thread called mohair thread (chenille thread),
Jacquard fabric woven with threads skipped in some areas, creating a floating weave.
The natural warmth of cotton and wool, combined with the three-dimensional texture of the weave, creates a very attractive material that exudes simplicity yet high craftsmanship.
It is slightly thick and soft, and feels comfortable in your hands every time you touch it.

④Inner fabric

This is the fabric used in almost all of MONAKA's displays.
The gray color of both the colored stones and the base metal material makes the colors stand out beautifully, and it is also the brand's image color.

To eliminate stress when you're out and about

For portability, I use a type that gently clamps jewelry with a sponge , which I personally use when transporting or transporting to events. It's easy to put in and take out, and the jewelry doesn't move or get scratched. There's no need to put it in or take it out of a plastic bag. It's designed to be stress-free and safe to use when traveling or on a business trip. When you need to remove your jewelry in an emergency, or when you're on a plane and you have swelling, the clamping type is incredibly convenient. Even with large stud earrings, you often have no choice but to put them in a bag, but this type allows you to use them without any issues with the size of the stone.
This also comes in three different types, using the above fabric on the outside.
This jewelry box is a crystallization of Japanese technology, Japanese fabrics, and Japanese aesthetic sense in a way that is unique to MONAKA .
While they are tools to protect your precious jewelry , they are also works of art that fill your heart with joy just by touching them.
We hope that this presence will beautifully color your daily life and travels.
