[Customer Blog] The Unique Beauty of Trapiche Sapphire / MONAKA osaka

Following on from last time, we would like to introduce a custom-ordered item from a customer at our Osaka store!

This was also ordered from the [ruby & sapphire fair] held at the Osaka store in January.

A deep blue with a unique radiating pattern. We crafted a trapiche sapphire that leaves a lasting impression at first glance.

Although the loose stone was already unique, the combination with the gold metal harmonized well, resulting in an elegant finish that perfectly suited the customer's style.

The geometric pattern characteristic of trapiche is a natural formation created by a series of coincidences. Its imperfect pattern exudes a quiet strength. To enhance the stone's individuality, we designed it with a simple four-prong setting. The contrast with the delicate band further accentuates the presence of the stone.

The loose stone, which was special from the moment it was chosen, became a finished ring, and when placed on the hand, it felt perfectly at home. At that moment, there was a beauty that made the stone truly "theirs."

And this was a special ring, ordered as a commemorative piece of jewelry. The all-platinum diamond ring that was chosen before the order with the thought "it would definitely look great layered!" matched perfectly.
