An emerald fair is currently being held at the MONAKA jewellery Isetan Shinjuku and Osaka stores!
The Osaka store started today! (The Osaka store will also be holding a Strawberry Quartz Fair at the same time)
Well, today, as the third installment in our exploration of the charm of emeralds, we would like to introduce you to the "Emerald Matrix."
Matrix refers to the "host rock."
It refers to the surrounding minerals that contained the stone, and since they come in various colors and shapes depending on the type of surrounding minerals, this is where the characteristics of each mine come into play.
This matrix can be reddish brown, black, white, or sometimes even quartz.
The Emerald Matrix we are introducing this time is a one-of-a-kind ring that beautifully combines the vibrant emerald green with the whiteness of the host rock.
This is highly recommended for those who want an emerald that is not too obvious and who don't want to look like everyone else.
So let's get started. 
Collet Ring - Emerald Matrix -
This is a pear-cut emerald matrix.
Both the emerald and matrix parts are transparent, and with its tiny inclusions and fine cracks, it looks like natural stained glass.
You can see the stone's different shades of sparkle as you move. 
Flat Ring - Emerald Matrix -
This is an emerald matrix cut into a square shape and set in a prong setting.
The Flat Ring is one of MONAKA's products with a simple design and texture that brings out the beauty of the stone.
The thin, edgy design of the arm brings out the charm of the stone to the fullest.
The vibrant emerald green color and the whiteness of the bedrock complement each other beautifully, creating a beautiful contrast.
