Pre-purchase precautions
*Due to the use of natural stones and handmade production, each item is unique and may vary.
*Due to the nature of natural stones and device settings, the color of the product may differ from the image.
*The size measurements listed are the longest parts of each side (length, width, and thickness).
For designs where the stone is held by a setting or has a base, the metal part may be included in the measurement. Please note that there may be slight discrepancies.
*Most of MONAKA's natural stone items are one-of-a-kind. Items also sold in stores may be sold out due to time differences, so please be aware of this in advance. In case of shortage, we will contact you within 3 days.
While there are individual differences, we may have other loose stones in stock. In such cases, we may offer an alternative.
In the unlikely event that you receive a product different from the one you ordered, or a defective item, we will accept returns or exchanges. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please contact us at info@monakajewellery.com.
Please note that we cannot accept returns or exchanges in the following cases:
* Requests for returns or exchanges due to customer convenience
* Products that have been more than 7 days since arrival
* Products that show signs of use
* Products for which accessories such as the included box or warranty have been lost
* If the product's condition differs significantly from when it was delivered
If an exchange is not possible due to the item being a one-of-a-kind item or out of stock, we will issue a refund instead.
In the case of returns or exchanges due to defects or incorrect delivery, we will cover the shipping costs.
Once payment is confirmed, we will promptly proceed with production. Therefore, please understand in advance that we cannot accept changes to your order details such as length, size, or material for custom-made items.
Delivery time
Currently, for both our online shop and directly managed stores, the estimated delivery time is approximately 3 months. After your order is completed, we will send you an email with an updated estimated delivery date.
*For some orders involving length changes, such as Link and Daisy, the delivery time will be approximately 4 months.
*During long holidays for our craftsmen, such as New Year's, summer holidays, and Golden Week, please allow an additional 10 days on top of the usual delivery time.
Once your product is complete and shipped, we will notify you with the shipping tracking number.
Currently, for both our online shop and directly managed stores, we estimate a delivery time of approximately two and a half months. After your order is complete, we will notify you of the estimated delivery date via email.
Please note that for some designs, adjustments may be made for wearing comfort and size.
During extended holidays such as year-end/New Year, summer vacation, and Golden Week, when our artisans are on long breaks, please allow an additional 10 days in addition to the standard delivery time.
Once your item is complete and shipped, we will contact you with the tracking number.
Regarding delivery
In-stock items will be shipped within 7 days of payment confirmation. (During New Year holidays, shipping will be according to business days.)
Once shipping is complete, we will notify you again with the tracking number.
Please note that we will only contact you within 3 days in case of an out-of-stock item.
Made-to-order items will be shipped as soon as they are completed. After shipping is complete, we will notify you with a shipping notification including the tracking number.
If you purchase made-to-order items or items with size changes together with in-stock items, they will be shipped together according to the lead time of the made-to-order items.
If you wish for separate deliveries, please let us know, and we will ship them separately upon receipt of an additional shipping fee.
Customers who purchase 55,000 yen or more (tax included) will receive free shipping.
All deliveries will be made via Yamato Takkyubin Compact.

International shipping is handled by Japan Post, UPS, and FedEx. The shipping carrier used for precious metals will vary depending on the destination country or region.
Shipping costs vary depending on the destination country and the product price. Shipping costs include insurance. Additionally, customs clearance fees may be incurred depending on the product price.
Shipping costs will be automatically calculated at checkout, please confirm them there.
Customs duties and import taxes vary by destination country and will be billed directly to you upon receipt, separate from the shipping fees.
We kindly ask that you research customs duties for your respective country in advance. Please note that we are unable to answer questions regarding customs duties.
Delivery times vary by destination country, ranging from several days to several weeks, and in some cases, around one month.
If you order made-to-order items, the shipping period is not included in the production lead time. Please allow for the shipping period in addition to the production lead time.

Handling Instructions
Jewelry, including natural stones, can be damaged if dropped or subjected to strong impacts, so please handle with care.
Furthermore, refrain from wearing jewelry when doing housework, bathing, sleeping, carrying heavy loads, or playing sports, as this may lead to deformation or damage to the jewelry, or unexpected injuries.
Broken natural stones cannot be repaired, so we recommend putting them on in a soft place, such as on a bed or carpet.
Natural stones with low hardness, such as coral, are particularly vulnerable to impact and chip easily, so please handle with extreme care.
Avoid long-term storage in direct sunlight or in dry, hot, and humid environments, as this may cause deterioration or discoloration.
Also, please refrain from wearing the jewelry in seawater or hot spring water, as these may cause discoloration of metals and deterioration of natural stones.
Natural stones (especially pearls and opals) may deteriorate or discolor if left with moisture or sweat on them. Cosmetics (sunscreen, hand cream, etc.) and chemicals may also cause loss of luster. After use, please gently wipe the jewelry with a jewelry cloth or soft cloth before storing it.
Jewelry can easily scratch each other and may break if they come into contact. When carrying, store them in a jewelry case so they are not crushed. For storage at home, we recommend using a tray or a case with individual compartments.
